PUBLIC TENDER FOR THE CONCESSION OF THE MARITIME PASSENGER TERMINALS AT THE MUSEUM OF SLAVERY AND MACÔCO

The Port of Luanda E.P opened, on 11 August 2021, the Limited Public Tender for the Concession and Operation of the Slave Museum and Macôco Maritime Passenger Terminals, in the capital of the country. The national or foreign candidates to the competition must submit their proposals until 22 September of this year, and the winner of the competition will have a 10-year period for its exploration. The different phases of the competition will culminate with the publication of the winner on 13 December of this year.

The tender documents may be collected by interested parties, directly from the Port of Luanda, against payment of AOA 250,000.

To this end, the candidates must comply with Law 41/20 on Public Procurement, where Article 117.1 specifies the minimum requirements of technical and financial capacity.

The candidates must fulfill the minimum requirements, from the financial capacity, equity capital of no less than 300 thousand dollars, a turnover in the last three years of no less than 500 thousand dollars and a minimum experience of five years in providing similar services.
